Make us more aware of your nearness
in the midst of our pain.
For those who are ill now,
bring patience and healing.
For those searching for a remedy,
guide them by the light of your Holy Spirit.
For medical caregivers helping the sick, strengthen and protect them.
For those working to eradicate this scourge, grant them success.
For those who are anxious and afraid,
give them peace.
For all who have died from this disease, have mercy on their souls.
May your infinite power
be our defense and our salvation.
We ask you this through Christ our Lord.
